This is an important topic. The SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic has impacted on the administration and management of public libraries. Even before the pandemic, the ongoing digitization process reduced the scale of using public libraries by citizens in the basic segment of the offer, which is borrowing books in printed form. Therefore, public libraries have been creating and developing digital collections of their resources of books, magazines, photos and other documents for at least several years. In addition, in recent years, public libraries have been cooperating to a greater extent with schools and local governments in organizing events for local community citizens, for school students, in organizing training and educational activities for students, in participating in family festivals, in organizing development activities for seniors, etc. Public libraries create a kind of mini-cinema halls where they screen fairy tales for children, organize theater performances, performances by famous people from the world of art for preschool and school children. Many public libraries have set up their own websites where they publish up-to-date information about planned cultural events and what they offer for children. More and more public libraries on their websites create online catalogs of their collections of books, magazines, photos, films and other documents. Some public libraries offer the possibility of using the digital resources of their collections via the Internet, with the possibility of e.g. online reading of digitized books and other publications. Some public libraries have created online databases for indexing the digitized resources of their collections of books, magazines, photos, films and other publications and documents. The SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus pandemic has accelerated the processes of digitization of library resources and their availability via the Internet. I studied the issues of the increase in the scale of digitization of documents and the increase in the internetization of processes carried out in various entities and institutions that took place during the pandemic. I have included the conclusions of my research in articles that I posted on my profile of this Research Gate portal in 2021. I invite you to research cooperation on this still topical issue.
