Hi everyone!

I'm trying to figure out how to add the inertia over active force direction in LAMMPS.

The basic model: a particle with an active force of a fixed magnitude acting on it along the particles velocity. LAMMPS has propel/self command for this case.

The desired model: I wand the force direction to have so inertia, and to be attracted to the current velocity with a finite ratio.

Any ideas how to do it?

I'm OK considering both using existing LAMMPS routines and programming new module for LAMMPS, but I need some advice.
