I am working with acrylic latex using styrene and butyl acrylate with 50% solid content. How can I reduce the viscosity of the latex?
The other question in this subject: how can I adjust the pH to 9, because I used 40% NaOH for 200g latex (about 10g) , NH3, NH3/NH4Cl buffer but I didn't achieve the desired adjustment.

I wanted to help you about mentined problems. I worked in paint industry in private sector approximately 10 years. In paint industry for water based interior or exterior paints have been using new generation chemicals to adjust several parameters of the mixture. Adjusting the viscosity and pH are the most important things for buildings paints. The mentioned parameters for Long shelf-life should be for all quality water based paints.
