Your coinitiator is the diamine TEMED. I guess you are familiar with the reaction itself (Norrish type II reaction).

From my point of view there isn’t a comparable reaction leading to a similar product because the relation of acid to basic groups will finally influence the dispersed polymers which will be charged to be stabilized within the water. (similar to the BA modifier relation in the publication)

Note that the coinitiator leads to the initiating radicals whereas the monomer consumption (kinetic) is mainly due to the propagation.

Thank you for your input, Dr. Schmitt! Unfortunately, the system I am studying cannot be prepared via emulsion polymerization nor can it be photoinitiated. 

If I find myself dealing with such systems as those you have worked with in the future, I will take your results into consideration.

Usually, in radical polymerization of AA some basic compounds such as potassium carbonate and sodium carbonate are used and do not interfere in kinetic of polymerization. I think you can also use some transition metal instead of TEMED in addition to hydrogen peroxide.

Thanks for your input, Dr. Mohammadi. Unfortunately I am working with a system sensitive to paramagnetic ions. I may try a protocol based on H2O2 as a radical-donor.
