I have used Mark L-4 3D (1 Hz) in microseismic monitoring in the last decades. It is a short period. I confirm that it is suitable for local seismic network and microseismic monitoring.

However the www.geophys.uni-stuttgart.de reports that the model we used is out of production. I do not know what are the differences with the Sensor Sercel Inc. model (but I think they are the same or very similar).
