In this context, i think that work for new and productive academic collaborations is essential. My reaseach are are gastroenterology and hepatology (see my profile). Collaborative research is indeed very important especially between high- and low-income countries. I am an expert in gastroenterology and hepatology and have been working in this area for the past 8 years. I have worked in different research projects in The Gambia, such as PROLIFICA (Prevention of liver fibrosis and cancer in Africa) and GHIS (Gambia hepatitis and intervention projects). I am happy to work together and exchange ideas.
Me and my fellow researchers working in the Department of Affective and Psychotic Disorders, Medical University of Lodz, Poland are focusing on projects analizing the aspect of potential development of NAFLD among hospitalized patients.
We would be so thrilled to work together and exchange concepts.
Our research team is happy to collaborate especially in extrahepatic manifestations of viral hepatitis (commonly C), NAFLD (or MAFLD) early diagnosis of stomach and colorectal cancer. Also the study of change of gut microbiome in colorectal cancer would be great.
It seems be very interesting. Good future project.
