1. Why 5, 10 and 15% of SiC was chosen? any base reference paper related to it. Why not below 5% is to be included.
2. What will be the result if the % of SiC is reduced less than 5% in wear properties? Weather is it possible to have antagonistic effect on wear resistance, with the incorporation of SiC?
3. The criteria for selecting the values of input parameters for wear examination for three levels (in Table 3) must be specified.
The criteria for selection of reinforcement percentage in the matrix are chosen based upon the outcomes requirement. Further, the dependency on the size is to be taken care of. The nanoparticles will have an improved property over the microparticles.

The reinforcement % in the matrix material is selected based on the requirement (strength, density, wear etc.). Further, the behaviour of the composites change with the reinforcement content, size and also the processing of the composites as well. Finally the wear of the composites depends on the process parameters and also reinforcements. The levels of the wear test parameters can be defined based on the availability and also the effectability on the responses.
