I am using an Acousto optic deflector for scanning the laser beam. For producing a discrete light source, it is necessary to couple the 1st order diffracted beam from AOD into the single-mode fiber. However I could not couple the diffracted beam into the fiber core. Anyone, do you have any idea about that?

This angle depends on the wavelength and the RF frequency. Acousto-Optic Material: The choice of acousto-optic material can also affect the coupling efficiency. Different materials such as dense flint glass, fused Silica, crystal Quartz, Tellurium Dioxide, or chalcogenide glass are used depending on the laser parameters such as wavelength, polarization, and power density. Wavelength Matching: Ensure that the wavelength of the diffracted light matches the optimal wavelength for the fiber. Wavelengths that cannot propagate still get diffracted by the fiber but never couple into the fiber nor reach the other end.

1.dereceden kırınımlı ışık bir defa kırılsa bile çekirdek dışında kırılması gerekir. Çekirdek homojen olduğu için kırılmaya uğramadan geçmesi gerekir. Fiberden gelen enerjinin çekirdeğin enerjisine eşit olması gerekir.
