Dear all,

I have a question regarding the directions of normal stresses in abaqus. I need to display the stresses in fiber orientation in each layer. I can transform the element-based results using the layup orientation and go through every layer. Is it the right way to display the fiber stresses?

I use shell elements for the simulation.

Also I need the stresses in thickness direction. I used continuum shell elements to get them, as described in the abaqus documentation. But I cant see them in the odb file. Do I need to request a special output?
