As, by definition, Organisational Climate depends upon perceptions of organisational members about different dimensions of the organisation and it influences the behavior of the people in the organisation, so it also plays a significant role in attainment of organisational goals.
The review of literature on Organisational Learning (OL) has highlighted that Organisational Learning is positively related with sustainable competitive advantage as it enables organisations to find new ways in order to survive and succeed in new situations. This is very critical for the organisation under study, as world is rapidly progressing towards development and acquisition of complex and sophisticated weapon systems using latest technology.
It is evident from the review on Organisational Innovation (OI) that innovation should be given strategic priority for growth and competitiveness. The literature review also suggests that environmental and organisational variables, especially industry type and organisational size affect Organisational Innovation. As innovation can easily be seen as output to any R&D effort, so it becomes vital to study the status of Organisational Innovation.
