Hi, I intend to use multiple regression, my independent variables are mindfulness and psychological flexibility, and the dependent variables are anxiety, depression and perceived stress in parents of children with chronic illness. However, I an not sure about the controlled variables yet. Shall I focused on parents such as ( e.g. parents gender and parents age ) or focused on children such as ( e.g. children age and duration of child's disease?) thanks
Hi, Sounds like an interesting study. Perhaps one could consider focusing on parent-related variables first? How large is your sample? The sample size might limit the number of predictors entered simultaneously (n = 15/predictor or independent variable might be considered as a rule of thumb).
