What will we get if we do C:E at finite deformation? In this equation, E is the Green strain and C is the stiffness tensor.
As the Green strain E is energy conjugate with the 2nd Piola-Kirchhoff stress S, so will we directly get the 2nd Piola-Kirchhoff stress S when doing C:E? I have done some calculus based on this, but it leads to confusing results at finite deformation.

As Ashish has mentioned, you will directly get the Second Piola Kirchhoff Stresses. But you also need to keep in mind that this Stress measure has no physical meaning and therefore it is quite alright to have confusing results. What you could do it you could derive back the Engineering stresses(Cauchy Stress) from this for further analysis.
