Hi everyone,

I'm trying to mount a 300 um-thick coronal brain slice after immunofluorescence onto a gelatin-coated slide. The problem is that the coverslip is lifted by the tissue, the mounting medium slips away and, therefore, the preparation cannot be sealed.

I tried to make a "pool' with silicon based sealer, with solid vaseline and with putty, but the medium keeps getting out. Is there anyone who had done IF with acute brain slices? how can you preserve it for posterior analyses? Thanks
