Title: Exploring the Characteristics of Innovative Organizations in the Post-2011 Era: A Systematic Literature Review
Research gap: Lack of up-to-date research on the characteristics of innovative organizations after 2011.
Objectives:
1. To identify the characteristics of innovative organizations in research literature from 2012 to 2025.
2. To compare the characteristics of innovative organizations identified in research literature from 2012 to 2025 with the findings of the 2011 study on “The Study of Characteristics of Innovative Organization: Case Studies from Awarded Organizations (Pakdeelao, 2011)
Research questions:
1. What are the characteristics of innovative organizations identified in the research literature from 2012 to 2025?
2. What are the characteristics of innovative organizations identified in the literature from 2012 to 2025 compared to those identified in the 2011 study on “The Study of Characteristics of Innovative Organization: Case Studies from Awarded Organizations (Pakdeelao, 2011)?
Significant of the study:
1. Researcher: This study will provide a comprehensive framework and an updated review of the literature as a resource for future research in the field of innovative organizations.
2. OD practitioner: This study will offer insights into the characteristics of innovative organizations which can be used to design and implement strategies that promote innovation and foster an innovative culture within organizations.
3. HR practitioner: This study will provide practical guidance on aligning HR practices with the characteristics of innovative organizations, such as recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, and rewards and recognition.
