I have limited number of samples available for testing , can i use the same pellet sample of alumina to see under SEM that i used to measure density?

I am running low on number of samples, so can i use a single pellet for both density measurement by Archimedes and SEM analysis after drying it? SEM will done on the fractures surface of the pellet.
