What would cause multiple bands of b-Actin on western blot?

I used mouse antibody for b-actin and got multiple bands. other proteins (dll4/jag1) did not show multiple bands. alpha-tubulin looks better but has some broken bands as well.

When doing PCR on sheep samples, does anyone have any experience with bovine primers?

I tried human primers without any luck. Bovine primer worked for gapdh but did not work for dll4. I am repeating my experiment to confirm. Sheep primers are not easily available. any thoughts?
