When stimulating an Absorber for CO2 capture, is CO2 suppose to be more in the bottom stream than in the top stream?

I am trying to stimulate an Absorber for CO2 capture and I can see that my Co2 is more present in my exhaust than in the bottom stream. Please how do I rectify this?
