What are your thoughts on the quality of conventionally DEPC treated water (prepared in lab) and commercially available DEPC-water?

I would also be interested in a working protocol to treat water with DEPC (Concentration of DEPC to be used, autoclave temperature, drying procedures).

Roche-RNA isolation kit for Rice RNA extraction to be used in qRT-PCR. Any suggestions?

I am planning to extract RNA from a rice sample using a kit from Roche. Has anyone used it already and has feedback about the kit for isolating RNA from a rice sample?
