Can BIotinyl-tyramide for APEX labeling be solved in something else than DMSO?

I work with zebrafish embryos that express APEX2, and when I soak them with Biotin-tyramide in DMSO (10% for 2 hours, etc.) they die. is there a less toxic way to quench the embryos with biotin?
