Why do I observe crystals after metaphase preparation in blood sample?

I used as ypotonic solution 10 ml KCL 0,056 M for 30 min. i let the cuture with fix in fridge for 40 minutes and i make only one wash with fix. finally i resuspend the pellet in 2ml FIX. Any ideas?
