Does anyone have used the Sterol extraction kit by Sigma-Aldrich for the analysis of sterols in liquid samples?

I want to analyze fecal sterols in water samples by GC-MS or HPLC-MS. I want to know if this kit is suitable for extract sterols from liquid samples and the sample amount recommended. Thank you.
