Are antimicrobial peptides delivered as TFA salts problematic for MIC assays? Should I switch to HCl, acetate or it does not matter?

I will start an experiment with synthetic antimicrobial peptides against bacteria. I would like to know if we need to get rid of TFA salts. Thank you
