Is it normal to have white dots on the bottom of the plate or "styrofoam-like" particles floating on the medium while differentiating caco-2 cells?

I have no experience in caco-2 cell culture, but I am trying to differentiate them (which should take 21 days) and every time I try to do it (3x), always by the 10th day I can see with naked eye...
