What would be the reason if ICP/MS doesn't detect the Cr(III) after the biosorption process?

I am studying the biosorption of Cr(III) (100 ppm) from water using a novel strain of Bacillus. After centrifuging the samples, ICP/MS couldn't detect Cr! What are the reasons?
