I have only used Zenodo.org for giving my GitHub repos a DOI. In that aspect, it is really a good tool.

However, as data repository, I prefer Mendeley Data (https://data.mendeley.com/) as it has a direct integration with a number of Journals -i.e. they allow you to directly link your data during the submission process.
