I am going to teach electrical and electronics engineering course for two classes with electrical and electronics majors respectively. The book should not be introduction to theory but applications.
It should cover simple working of Transformer, Power Generator device (Electrical machine, e.g., EV motor), Power conversion device (Inverter/converter), and Photo-voltaic System (e.g., ). Also AC and DC basics.
Target class is undergraduate first/second semester students. So, it is desired to be very simple which just help understanding above systems, machine and devices but may not be limited to it.
Any similar suggestion for book name will be highly appreciated.

Please consider that book should be more about giving many reasons to the undergrade students that why they need to study electrical and electronic engineering ...it is not about theory, concepts and complex math. For example; how magnetic train works and concept behind it...how this subject helps in numerous in life applications.
Those are some of the books that I use to teach our 1st year undergraduate electrical and electronic engineering students, even to other engineering students I use the same books. The depth of the topics/subjects depend on the lecturers.
