I am writing a PhD thesis on caring ethics based on the thoughts of Nel Noddings. Since it is a philosophy theses, field study is not a requirement to be fulfilled. But as i am trying to look for its application in character education in Indonesian context, i would like to make some research on how educational climate in some schools have echoed caring characters of education.
I would be very thankful to those who are willing to share with me some tools, methods or questionnaires regarding the topics.

There are 3 or 4 ways of broadly looking at the problem. First, you may want to check on ancient Greek education from Plato and Socrates and what other people have said about them. Second, You may want to look at the works of Reformation and Protestant reformers like Erasmus, Martin Luther, John Calvin, Jesus, Confucious, Education by Hellen White, and the models of Ivy league college education systems.
