While the theory of Job crafting is heavily grounded on the JD-R model, early research in Job crafting has shown JC as a predictor of work engagement. In the recent articles, researchers has also highlighted JC as consequence of WE.

While both theories are possible basis the JD-R model and empirical evidence justifies such association, I would like to understand if both way relationship is possible?

if both WE and JC are positively associated, will JC will also result in stronger WE?
