As we all know that proppant transport by water is dominated by bed transport, whereas transport by foams is primarily in suspension. Both simple foams (without thickener added) and thickened foams transport proppant substantially further than water.
As shown in Figure 1. Usually not all part of newly generated hydraulic fracture is filled with proppant ( proppant transport by water), hence my question is "Will the proppant be transported to the tip of fracture by foams?"
