As chelating agents such as EDTA, citric acid etc. have shown to enhance phytoremediation of heavy metals from contaminated soil (reported by various researchers).
Sir, chelating agents such as EDTA, citric acid roles in phytoremediation of heavy metal such as Cd, Cr, Pb from contaminated soil is well known as per literature. But my concern only related to salt affected soil..can citric acid
enhance the salt or Na+ uptake by trees species and/or increased the salt tolerance mechanism of plant..??? may i request you for some literature or information regarding this, kindly share with us.
