Yes, it will affect job, wages and skills

Those with skills especially Engineers and Scientist will fit in and get jobs easily while those without skills will most likely loose their jobs.

Automation surely affect jobs, wages and skills of a person. Automation is unavoidable may be technology is advancing day by day, new inventions, large scale production needed, skill, accuracy etc. is required in some areas, less number of labour in certain areas, etc. Automation (artificial intelligence, robotics) leads to fastness and rapid growth of production but this needs close observation and monitoring system. As said above, a person who has specific skills can only sustain with good wage for a job alloted.
