Why yeast transformation not working?

I have been trying to delete one copy of an essential gene from a diploid in fission yeast. I am using PCR based homologous recombination method and primers are designed from Bahler's lab website. I am getting the PCR result but my transformation is not working. I am using the Liacetate transformation protocol. Trying this for the past 5 months but didn't get any positive clones. Any suggestions
