Ventilation is a dynamic process with frequently changing lung condition. Ideally one person should always be present bedside to monitor clinical signs and ventilator graphics and data. If ventilator can be made smarter to adjust settings as per change in lung condition it will take away scope of human error and will also reduce the manpower requirements.
