I have tried to simulate the structure introduced in this article:

However the results are not what is expected!!
The port is "floquet" and boundary conditions are unit cell.
First question is, as the backside of structure is photodiode, how zmin in boundary conditions should be defined?
Second is, photodiode model in article is said series varible capacitance and a resistor....i did it with lumped element....is that right? If it is, why can't I see frequency resonance in S11 magnitude as the article?
