I am trying to model the support system for deep excavation using sheet pile in Plaxis 3d.I am studying effect of variation in angle ,length, spacing and location of anchors and depth of sheet pile embedment . But when i try to calculate factor of safety using safety phase the value changes while using different target values. And furthermore when viewing moment and force diagram in output the anchors are taking respective amount of force but the factor of safety do not seems to increase when anchors are installed.

The fact that there is no change in the factor of safety with the activate of the anchors can be explained as follows. If the maximum shear stress occurs in a region outside the anchorage system during the safety analysis, the safety number may not change. It may be useful to examine the shear stress distribution in the safety analysis results for the phase that the anchors are not activated.
