some kinds of exonuclease need MgCl2 to degrade RNA, but why the Exonuclease activity was inhibited with the increase of magnesium ion concentration? the functional RNA folding needs MgCl2, low concentration of MgCl2 will lead to RNA unfolding? if we want to determine the structure of the exonuclease and functional RNA complex structure, how we can choose the concentration of the MgCl2?
