Graphen, GO and blends with polymers are not in the framework of my modest activities.
Really a very hard question.
Here is a hard situation for an objective comparison task between the two profiles.
In fact, there is a great change in WAXD intensity data values by only 4%wt on GO.
Perhaps, I’m wrong but the experimental result seems to be strange compared to the case of pure PE.
Modestly, I propose that you need to have a very good blend sample (perfectly homogeneous).
I think again that you need to correctly set the experimental apparatus, conditions and
procedure. Be aware for the X-Ray source intensity and for reference intensity value for final WAXD intensity data correction. A correction protocol or a procedure must exist for the WAXD apparatus.
In the lower part, which is the largest of the main peak (the crest line) there is the contribution of the crystalline phase of the PE itself (pure PE is semicrystalline), however in the highest part which is the thinnest of the same main peak there is the contribution of the regular ordered phase due to the added GO.
I think (I foresee) that the same higher part of the main peak will be thicker for the higher GO content blends.
