Sometimes we observed that even when the substrate shutter is on (i.e. it is completely covering the substrate). Even if we change the frequency of the laser shot, still the oscillation time remains the same, which indicates that the oscillation is not due to growth, but due to some interference between the laser or plume of the materials with the electron beam from the RHEED gun. Is there any way to overcome this issue?
