Why people study non-axi endwall characteristics on turbine blade rather than on turbine nozzle guide vane?

Most of the studies on flow and heat transfer characters of non-axi endwall are on blade passage rather than vane passage. Why?

Is the blade endwall hotter than vane endwall?

Is the non-axi endwall structure performs better on blade passages?
