i'm researching GPE (Gel Polymer Electrolyte) for Li-ion battery
when i fabricate GPE, i'm using acrylate monomer, photo initiator, liq electrolyte(1M LiPF6 in EC/DEC)
i'm mixing monomer, initiator and liq electrolyte and stirring 24hr
when fabricate half coin cell, i inject aformentioned precursor on cathode(LCO) and expose uv during 2min
the problem is charge/discharge (i'm using battery cycler and using c-rate charge/dischege method)
(charge - 0.1C, cut off - 4.2V )
(discharge - 0.1C, cut off - 3.0V)
when i charge coin cell at 0.1C, the voltage rises to 4.2 V within 5 min

,the L O W (ionic) conductivity value of the 'composite acrylate' GPE, due to the de-insertion of the actual liquid electrolyte (1M LiPF6 in EC/DEC) by over-drying it, is your main issue.
My suggestion:
Try to reduce the over-drying effect of your ('quasi-liquid' composite electrolyte) GPE, by reducing the (UV-light) curing time, say, by subsequent (N++) steps of curing, e.g. proceeding with (N*)0.5 min curing steps, as a testing of the ('composite acrylate' curing) processing time.

in this situation, raise the curing time[1], reducing[2] by (about) one half the previous light intensity.
1. Also, try to measure OCV(time) during curing time.
2. Reducing light intensity reduces on absorber (acrylate monomer, local) Temperature, T. .
After fabricating Li/.../Li symmetric (fresh) cell, measure EIS, from 10mHz to 1MHz.
Also, after cycling (Li/.../Li symmetric cell), about 1000 (fast) cycles, remeasure EIS from 10mHz to 1MHz.
