Hi,

I just had a look on a recent analysis (on C26H19F4N2O4Se+) and was wondering why the simulated monoisotopic peak of the molecular ion (579.0441) is slightly differnt to the calculated m/z value (579.0442), see attachment. When I calculate it manually I get 579.0441.

It`s both calculated within the same program (DataAnalysis from Bruker), so the same values for the isotopic masses were taken. Shouldn`t both values (calculted m/z and monoisotopic mass of the ion) be the exactly same?

Many thanks for your help!

Best

Michael
