Could you please define what you mean with the inverse core-shell particles. What exactly is inverted? Inversion implies certain rather specific initial "normal" state. The answer to your question totally depends on what kind of material properties you want to "invert"
Here inverse core shell mean the core has a wider bandgap than the shell, and the conduction and valence band edges of the shell lie within those of the core.
