Dear friends,

I did the gel permeation chromatography (GPC) test to determine the molecular weight of a polymer. Although I knew from literature that the molecular weight  of my polymer is in the range of 1500-2000 Da, the instrument gave me 289 Da in the result report.

I would like to ask whether I need to do some calculation to get the real molecular weight, or it is given directly in the result report?

I would like to ask whether the low concentration of the polymer (0.2 mg/ml) in the solvent during the test caused this unreasonable result ?

thank you for your help
