the weight ratio of acrylate monomer : RAFT agent : Photoinitiator Irgacure 819 is 8 : 0.2 : 0.2. I could get crosslinked networks if the concentration of Raft agent below 0.2
I read some papers showing that the higher the concentration of CTA, the lower the molecular weight, but they didn't explain the reason behind. I was confused by this question for a while.

RAFT = reversible addition fragmentation transfer
these are designed to do chain transfer. Chain transfer will limit your MW. Too much RAFT agent will keep the MW too low and low MW needs more cross-linking to form a network ….
In a radical polymerization all chains cannot be simultaneously active. In RDRP, such as RAFT polymerization, these attributes are displayed in the presence of reagents.
