Hi Arash, I too beleive OM addition leads to increase physical fertility like stable macroaggregate leading to increase infiltration rate. However, I was rather surprise to see OM effect in such a short time frame.

OM helps in pore geometry so I think addition of OM matter increased the porosity of soil and as your soil is sodic, OM also helps in reducing the dispersion.
