It has been interesting to observe how far the ancient traditions and social custom influence even persons who are trained as scientists. (Alfred Kinsey)
Do you mean "or"? The real question is, if you're curious about it, why haven't you? The simple answer is easy they based their "research" on biased assumptions and self-serving narratives.
You are clearly unfamiliar with the research you are criticising. Kinsey and Hite both asked women how they experienced orgasm in every situation. Masters and Johnson only researched intercourse and therefore did not present an unbiased view of sexuality. They also had very small samples, which could not possibly be representative of the population. I have followed up on all of the research done to date. I will publish my second academic paper tomorrow, which discusses the conclusions and flaws in the research to date. If you want an unbiased approach, I suggest you read it!
Thanks Hassana for commenting. Kinsey guaranteed anonymity for his interviewees. Otherwise no one would have agreed to participate. Hite's work was based on anonymous questionnaires so there was no chance that the respondents could be attacked by anyone. The research has not been continued because when women are honest no one likes the answers they give. Men don't want to hear what women have to say about sex. Women who are selling sex or sex therapy don't want to hear women say that they obtain little pleasure from it. The only money to be made is to promote intercourse as a pleasure for women because that is what men want to hear. Hence why Masters and Johnson were successful. They focused only on intercourse and assumed that the women had orgasms. Their samples were small and could not possibly be representative of the population. Since Kinsey and Hite, researchers now assume that women orgasm every which way as portrayed in erotic fiction. But there is no research that proves that this is the case. Sexology is based on speculative theories that are never proved. See my first research paper - https://www.nosper.com/research-papers. My second paper comes out tomorrow and discusses the flaws in the research to date. Sexologists simply ignore Kinsey and Hite, which is unscientific but helps them promote the political goal of intercourse as an equal pleasure for women. Men do not like feeling beholden to women.
