Currently I'm performing a 2D axisymmetric simulation with constant heat flux. I have adjusted y (wall distance) value in the unstructured meshing based on the y+ calculation (equal to 1) for enhanced wall treatment. But after the simulation the y+ value of the surface integrals seems to be bit lower. Any general suggestions would be really appreciated.

Difficult to say without more details. It could be your mesh refinement, could be issues with convergence, could be issues associated with turbulence model, etc.
As @Nikolay said there are too many factors,
briefly, the used model is the focal point and based on ur question I presume you used SST k-w. If you can't get the right y+ value, then I suggest to use k-epsilon with scalable wall function, this model elegantly solves the y+ value " you could look the details up"

could it be due to the heat transfer changing your near wall temperature and that the kinematic (or the dynamic viscosity) changing due to this temperature change affecting your y+ calculations results?
