Why fast capacity decay with electrochemical cycle exist in Li/Solid polymer Electrolytes/LiFePO4?

The reversible capacity in 1st cycle is good in Li/LiFePO4 cells. What is the best explanation for fast capacity decay with increasing cycle number.

Dear Anji,

I am not an expert on what seems to me is some kind of Li battery cell (??). What I perhaps can comment on is the capacitive characteristics of your system. To do that though I need to know more about your system. Is your sample (cell) a solid or is it a liquid, what is the measuring geometry and the most important, how do you measure the capacitance response ?. Did you consider Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy ?
