Why does the NCBI's RefSeq "correct" frameshifts?

In this gene on the NCBI website (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/nuccore/XM_019012441.1), it states that "frameshifts :: corrected 3 indels" and that " RefSeq transcript was modified relative to its source genomic sequence to represent the inferred CDS: inserted 2 bases in 2 codons;deleted 2 bases in 1 codon." Why did they modify the sequence to correct the presence of a frameshift?
