Hi,

I have synthesized Pt thin film and was testing its stability under 30,000 electrochemical potential cycling in 0.1M HClO4. However, I am unable to understand why does Pt(100) peak (at ~0.25V) shifts to lower values, while Pt(110) peak (at ~0.1 V) doesn't shift as the number of electrochemical cycles proceed.

Any light in this regard (preferably with appropriate references) will be highly appreciated.
